MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

On behalf of the proprietor who is the Ministry of Education and Training, the Board of Governors, Collegiate teaching staff and the entire Collegiate community, the Principal wishes to extend a hearty welcome to the readership of this prospectus as well as the general public here in the Kingdom and internationally who may show interest into the being of this unique institution of learning. More especially, we would like to welcome the entire population and generations of prospective students out there still searching for alternative avenues and routes that may assist them in realizing their burning desire to access higher education. For many years in the past such routes of access have proved to be few and elusive for majority of aspiring tertiary education entrants. The existence of the Collegiate therefore provides a welcome addition to the arsenal of opportunities created by the Ministry to satisfy this need for the 16 – 19 year olds – ‘for willing horses’ – to acquire university education. The Collegiate primarily exists to reinforce this noble effort by the Ministry.

The ultimate goal of the Collegiate is to offer, in step with the times and contemporary educational demands the world over, the A levels that have proved to be the most desirable preparation for would-be tertiary students worldwide.

The Collegiate is an associate school of the world renowned Cambridge Assessment and International Education (CAIE). Locally, the Collegiate is answerable to the Examinations Council of Lesotho which serves as a parent organization that links the school with CAIE.

While at the moment the school is in its progressive stage, in future we intend to fashion partnerships as widely as possible the world over.
